Main Divide is the local name for the mighty range of Southern Alps which form the backbone of Te Wai Pounamu, the South Island of Aotearoa, New Zealand. All the harvested grapes are meticulously crafted into wine by the Donaldson Family at the legendary Pegasus Bay.
The grapes for these wines are sourced from our Main Divide Te Hau vineyard, located on the Glasnevin Gravels in the Waipara Valley, North Canterbury. Additionally, the winery collaborates with a few carefully chosen vineyards in North Canterbury, selected for their distinctive locations, terroir, and grape quality. The aim is to maintain close partnerships with the growers of these vineyards, ensuring the cultivation of high-quality fruit throughout the season.
