In Lipari, within the marvelous Aeolian archipelago, lies a bold winemaking project in a magical and unspoiled environment, painted with colors that only nature can bestow.
Tenuta di Castellaro was born from the careful selection of indigenous grape varieties from the Aeolian Islands and the reclamation of a part of the land that had been abandoned over the years. It is the realization of a dream and passion that have merged into a perfect union, creating a unique excellence.
The 22 hectares of vineyard are exclusively cultivated using the traditional albarello (“little tree”) training system following organic protocols, that give us precious grapes that transform into wines with a unique taste, pure expression of the volcanic territory.
Bianco Pomice is our premier white wine. It is born from the union of two very different varieties (60% Malvasia and 40% Carricante ) that blend perfectly and complement each other, enhanced by the volcanic soil of Lipari.
A dry white wine of great finesse and freshness, both on the nose and on the palate: citrus and wildflowers, with fruity and almond notes, enveloping with a long and lasting flavor.
