From the producer:

Our story began in 1986 in Irpinia, in the central Campania region, mountainous, rainy, and often snow covered in winter. A South different from the traditional stereotypes with a great winemaking heritage and soils rich in minerals. Here, Feudi di San Gregorio has founded its narrative on the promotion of extraordinary and still little known indigenous grape varieties Greco, Fiano, Falanghina, Aglianico and monumental vines over two hundred years old. It has done so with a strongly contemporary, inquisitive spirit, open to fusion with the worlds of creativity, such as design and art.

We believe in the value of long lasting beauty that is born of a combination of aesthetic vision and responsible commitment. We have transformed Feudi di San Gregorio into a benefit company, achieved Equalitas certification and obtained B Corp certification for the entire group. Today, investing in environmental, cultural, social and economic regeneration is the only possible way to pursue our business mission.

In fact, this has given rise to many initiatives, such as our Winegrowing Protocol, developed with cutting edge research institutes with the aim of protecting the biodiversity of our territories and cultivating our vineyards in a sustainable manner, and our programme for winegrowers. Last but certainly not least, there are our actions to minimise the consumption of resources that include the full use of renewable sources for our energy needs, the recovery and recycling of rainwater, reducing the environmental impact of our packaging, and our aim to become climate neutral.

Finally, we pursue a vision, i.e. that art and culture can bring about positive territorial and social change. The new work by Pietro Ruffo, exhibited at Feudi di San Gregorio, and part of our programme for the San Gennaro Foundation in Naples, is tangible proof of this.
